Felicity or beatitude is eternal happiness and can be gained by no other means than God. Happiness can temporarely come from created things, sush as fortune, fame, worldly honor, health, etc... , but no created things can bring eternal happiness, onle God can. Felicity is obtained by seeing God face to face and by the knowledge of his mystery. |
